Dejan Kostić, Director of the Republic Agency for the Peaceful Settlement of Labour Disputes
Curriculum Vitae:
Born on 26th June 1972 in Leskovac where he finished both elementary and secondary school. He finished the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. At present he is at the postgraduate studies, at the Faculty of Law, Department of Labour Law.
He worked as a lawyer from the beginning of 1999 to 2001.After the elections in September 2000 he was appointed the Member of the Executive Board in the Municipality of Zvezdara (2000-2004). In December 2004 he was appointed Director of the Republic Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labour Disputes.
In the period of 2001 to 2006, he was the President of the Managing Board of preschool institute “Zvezdara”.
He is a member of the publishing committee “Casopis za radno I socijalno pravo”( “Magazine for Labour and Social Law”)- the Association of Labour Law and Social Insurance of Serbia. He is the author of numerous law amendments, monographs and articles in the area of labour relations and peaceful resolution of labour disputes.
He is fluent in English and German.
